TXST T&F has done well in the SBC with 2 titles and top 3 finishes.

They just signed 5 kids that are top 10 in the state.

This is an impressive haul by all standards.

Nice class.

The female distance runner is a really nice add. We've been lacking in that area for quite a while. The men have a guy that will be a junior this year that is improving. What the men are going to need is someone to fill in the 4x400. That team has gone to nationals the past 2 years but we lost the anchor to graduation. (11 Seniors on the team graduated) and will lose another after this season.

I feel the improvement the past several seasons is bringing in better T&F personnel. Now if we could just get more of the XCountry HS kids to take notice.

I know this is an oft overlooked sport in college but I've always been a T&F person. It's my favorite part of the Olympics; although they have drastically watered down the coverage over time. They used to show whole events. Now we get snippets or 30 minutes of USA people; which frustrates me.

I do watch the Texas Relays and the SBC championships. Not much other coverage that streams.

In related news, Bobcat Track & Field Stadium was just named the venue of the 2018 Sun Belt Championships.

Actually, NBC had streaming coverage of every event in Rio. Every throw, every jump, every race.

Now you tell me? Ugh. I don't have a cable/satellite provider. Some of that you need one. Tell me I didn't have to have one to watch.
