The Boston Red Sox(custom Boston Red Sox championship rings) will be trying to bounce back from their series loss to the Tampa Bay Rays when they take on the Texas Rangers in the second game of their four-game series on Tuesday night. The game will be played at Fenway Park and it is scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM. ET.

Ariel Jurado, 3-2 with a 2.78 ERA, will get the start for the Rangers. The Red Sox have not announced their starter for the game.

The Rangers continue to play well and have now won four of their last six contests. Their recent run has allowed them to move into second place in the AL West(mlb championship rings), 9.5 games behind the Houston Astros. They will try to cut into Houston’s lead some more with a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday, which will give them their fifth win in their last seven games.

Offensively, the Rangers are one of the better teams in the league. Their .259 batting average is sixth in the league, their .335 on-base percentage is eighth, while their .454 slugging percentage is seventh in the league. The Rangers have scored 364 runs this season(championship rings), which is second in the league.

Elvis Andrus leads the Rangers with a .301 batting average. Joey Gallo leads with 17 homers, while Hunter Pence leads with 41 RBI.

Texas’ pitching hasn’t been as good as the team’s offense. Opponents have a .272 batting average against the Rangers, which is 29th in the league. Their 4.89 ERA is 24th, while their 22 quality starts are 21st in the league.

In his last start, Jurado gave up eight hits and three earned runs in six innings, helping the Rangers get a 4-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. The team will need another solid effort from him to get the win on Tuesday.
