Post Best College Football Stadiums
OK folks, what are your favorite college football stadiums (not game day atmosphere necessarily) you have actually visited in person?

- Notre Dame
- Tiger Stadium - LSU
- Camp Randall - Wisconsin
- Rice (not for game day atmosphere obviously, but always liked the stadium itself)
- DKR-Memorial - UT (although I hate the press box side upper deck)

Best game day atmosphere?
LSU. No contest.

Saw UCLA play U of Cal when I was younger and it still reminds me of how great rivalry games are and how cool really good stadiums can be.

Post Stadiums
Kyle Field is a great experience regardless if you like the Aggies or not.

But there is nothing better than a Saturday Night @ Death Valley. (LSU Tiger Staduim)

I have never seen a game here but I was in Dallas and took a pic or two of Ford Field at SMU. The crouds may be small for their games but the stadium is one of the best looking ones anywhere.

yeah i think ford is very nice. i think it seats about 32,000, which would be an ideal size for us for the first few years in I-A (if we make the move).

Taking a boat to a game....stern-gating? talk about game day atmosphere. One of the toughest stadiums even with the track.

Ford Field is very nice. I've been to a TCU vs. SMU game there before. For two Christian schools, they sure do hate each other.

It looks even better from the inside!

Also with SMU, they have a surround sound system. Not even UT or A&M have that.

...barely beats out Tiger Stadium, in my opinion. Went last year when they played the Vols...place was ROCKIN!!

The bars on broad street at quite impressive as well. :applause:

Calling TCU a christian school is hilarious, but Notre Dame has the BEST atmosphere and stadium ever. I saw a game on Halloween there against Baylor.

I have never seen Husky stadium in full frame like that, but that is one bada$$ mother. Anybody can do a horseshoe or oval (except you know who), but I prefer the unconventional design. You know the fans appreciate the shade overhangs.
