This is one of the best five threads I have ever encountered on bobcatfans. While I despise you often times TT- I loved the article.

They haven't quite made me an archive yet, but should have one soon! ;)

Any suggestions for my June column?

A breakdown of each team on Offense, Defense, and Special teams would be awesome. ( Using something like an ABCD system.)

A players to watch for would also be cool.

Got to wait for the SLC preview in the CSN Magazine for that...

I'm considering a Southland's Sensational Sophomores column. I've pin-pointed some major sophomores who should get some attention this season...though I'm waiting to see how things pan out in the Cajun Corner before I move forward with it...

Brad George...is that your fourth string QB?

He seems to fit the bill...seems there's quite a few playmakers on the offensive side as far as sophomores go. For SHSU, it may be a defensive player...

Very cool- I'm excited about the read...

Do you know of any websites that cover FCS football in depth- I've always been pretty mad about the fact that I could never find very much information about it.....

Seems to me that NWLA has sort of fallen by the wayside in most talks of the Southland Conference. Has Stoker lost it, or should we expect them to continue fielding nasty defenses and unpredictable offenses?

College Sporting News has more in-depth coverage when it comes down to conferences/regions...

Sports Network does a pretty good job of covering, but doesn't get down to the level that CSN does, as they're one national writer instead of several regional writers (CSN)..

NWST has been taking it to the chin as far as schedules goes. Last year, they had three FBS opponents. This year, they got two plus a tough road trip to Boston to play Northeastern. The SLC is a battle -- we all know that -- every week of the season. I think they've been a bit battle weary heading into SLC play. They've had solid talent, but they're not where they probably have been in the past...
