Just got an alumni mag from the university at which I obtained my masters degree many years ago (64 pages by the way). Can't recall last time I got a Hillviews from San Marcos...been quite some time...suspect a year or so. Also, this year didn't receive info or solicitation regarding the TxSt Alumni scholarship gala fund raiser. Have given some $$ to the fund in the past, including last year. Am also a Lifetime member of the TxSt Alumni Assoc. Not sure if I fell off the mailing list or what.

¿Qué sucede?

Hillviews is currently undergoing a complete redesign and that is why publication was temporarily suspended. The new-look Hillviews magazine is scheduled to go to the printer today and should be in the mail within two weeks. It should be a much-improved version of the former magazine. Many more pages, a fresher look and perfect binding (a ridged spine rather than stapling).

Its going through some upgrades. Its not going to come out as often, but its supposto contain more content. The disruption wasnt good, but it will be better off for it.

You not recieving info from the Alumni Association about the gala is unacceptable. Maybe you should call them and ask about the hang up.

OK - THAT made me laugh out loud. It's been a while since I spewed diet coke across my keyboard. Thanks for the Friday afternoon laugh...
