Surprised I haven't seen anything posted here about this terrible tragedy that occurred this past Friday.

The Iconic Village Apartments building 300 caught fire around 4:30AM and all accounts I have been hearing are smoke detectors did not go off. It took them day to find the bodies and it will be a week before they can identify the bodies but it appears the 5 deceased are all students.

They are asking for donations for the 300 that have been displaced. This was The Meadows apartments when I was there, and scary to think that I had many friends that stayed here and we hung there many times. Sad.

Wow. I read about the fire but didn't realize people died. Very sad and hope those affected find peace.

I lived in the Meadows when I was in school. It was surreal seeing the footage. Pretty sure my old apartment was destroyed. Very sad for the victims.
