Post 5-Mile Dam
FYI, for those of you in the area...

The Blanco is back! The water is finally flowing over the dam again at 5 mile. The park is really clean. I haven't seen it this nice since about 2007 or 2008.

Used to love taking my dog out there when she was a puppy. She's an old lady now at 7 years old. For the past 6 years or so 5-mile has been a barren wasteland. Awesome to see it like it used to be back in pre-2008 era again.

Yeah, I'm super annoyed by this, as this was my primary biking route and really, my primary way of coming into San Marcos from my home. Now I have to go out to I-35, which sucks. On the plus side, that bridge was well past its expiration date and needed to be replaced.

yeah it was my scenic way anytime traffic got to be a bitch on 35, which is often. During semester the yarrington nonsense sucks, probably other times too but i dont go that way as often

The Yarrington construction isn't that bad. The problem is during the school year since apparently Little Johnny Dumbass's overprotective parents have to take the kid to school instead of sending him on the bus.
