Dear god. What's wrong with these people? I was 23 when I finished a graduate degree and started working full time as a college instructor. It wasn't even under the best of conditions, I paid for my own school. What the hell are other people doing with their lives that they need to wait until 27 years of age to find out who they want to be?

That's a real good question, but I suppose we're not allowed to ask. We don't want to be labeled as reactionaries, or something.

When I was 21, I was a foreman on a highway construction project, with 10 card carrying members of the Teamsters, 6 members of the Operating Engineers, and two members of the Laborers unions working for me. On the southern edge of West Virginia. I doubt any of these three would survive a trip to that part of the U.S. Well, maybe the coyote date chick. She looks like she'd fit right in there. With all the inbreeding, some of them folks ain't right.
