Post Veteran's liaison at TX ST
Anybody know the name/phone number of the guy who assists veterans with becoming TX ST students?

A friend is getting out of the Army soon, and wants to go to school. Thanks

In addition to Saul's contacts listed below, you should get your friend in touch with the Hays County Veterans Services Officer. He can walk him through all of the various veterans benefits, which the military does a really shitty job of explaining as you discharge. Plus the VSO can connect him with other services if your friend has served in a combat role resulting in PTSD symptoms along with family issues, addiction, depression/anxiety, etc.

Jude Prather's office was most helpful with a VA/vet related issue regarding my nephew's benefits.

Good luck to your friend CG.

Thanks. His resume' is already in the hands of the hiring managers at McCoy's corporate, Grande, Wide-Lite, and Alamo Group in Seguin. He's currently in charge of over 100 guys in the Engineering Battalion attached to the 10th Mountain Division, so dealing with a bunch of recent college grads should seem like a walk in the park for him. :-)
