Post The Impact of Implied Foul Language
I often see some "f'd ups" and some "f-ing" and the occasional "crap" used in certain posts. I'm sure I may be guilty of this implied foul language from time to time. The question is: Does the Impact of Implied Foul Language add Credibility to Your Post?

Foul language, whether implied or out right, doesn't add to credibility. In fact, I feel if used incorrectly or too much it can hurt your credibility.

if you're trying to make a good argument, it makes you sound less credible. if you're just trying to show how pissed you are, than it makes you sound more credible, haha.

i.e.

#1 Due to the f*cking electoral college, that c*unt George Bush weaseled his way into the f*cking whitehouse.

#2 Why the f*ck did Larry and Denise not even release a goddamn press release after the June 1st deadline?

Swearing makes you sound less credible in all situations. Many people (predominantly women) are offended by foul language and don't take kindly to it, so you're better off not using it.

Unless you're just with your boys, of course. :sombrero:
