Best regional finish ever by the Bobcats. Tough conditions at A&M this morning, but Leslie Romero's 12th-place individual finish led the 'Cats to a 3rd-place team finish behind Arkansas and Texas.

Great job again by the cross country women.

Guessing since I haven't heard anything yet that nobody qualified for the national meet?

Top 2 teams at regionals automatically qualify. We were one spot out from an automatic team berth to the NCAA championship meet. Arkansas and Texas finished 1 and 2. Bobcats finished in 3rd in front of a bunch of good teams (Baylor, Texas A&M, LSU to name a few).

Looks like Leslie missed it:

Top 2 teams and top 4 individuals not on one of those 2 teams qualified for nationals.

Leslie was 5th from a non top 2 team, so she missed it by one place.

It would be awesome for ladies to qualify as team next year, but Leslie has great chance to do so as individual.

Yep, all three all-region runners return, so it looks like 2019 could be another good one for the 'Cats!
