It seems if we finish the regular season in the 41-43 win range and win/share the regular season title and make a good showing in the SBC tournament or win the tournment and finish runner up in the regular season we could be looking at hosting a regional... still ways off with 15 games to go + tournament the Woodard kool-aid ![]() ![]() |

Would like to see that too. If not there, then maybe an at large bid like last year. With wins over a few p5 schools, we have to be in the mix for the at large bid( i hope). |

RPI of 28 prior to the Baylor game should make us a definite at-large team if the season ended today. Just need to keep winning. |

The remaining games on schedule are favorable for us to win the majority. Troy, UTA and Ga Sou. are in bottom half of sunbelt standings, and the Ladies know how to care of business. |

Just got home from San Marcos. What a great day! Baseball won, and were hitting well. Lady 'Cats won an extra inning gm 2-1 in thrilling fashion. Loaded bases in bottom of 9th and walked off with a hit back to the pitcher that was miss handled. ![]() |

TXST moves up to #25 in RPI rankings, should get enough votes to break the top 25 this week. |

NFCA Poll - ORV (14) 10 teams, #16-25, excepting Louisiana, have equal (2 teams) or worse records (7 teams). I didn't check the RPIs of those 10 teams but Louisiana is #29 Maybe I'll do that ^ later this afternoon |

I didn't check the RPIs of those 10 teams but Louisiana is #29 Maybe I'll do that ^ later this afternoon The few articles that I had read up until this weekend had cited the UNM and Abilene losses as nearly the sole culprits for keeping us out of the top 25. Now that this weekend ran its course there is a 3rd and 4th reason for keeping us out of the top 25 and that's losing by a combined 15 runs in the 1st 2 games to ULL. Wipe away the UNM and ACU games (33-8 would have done it) and I think we'd have broken then top 25 even with the 2 ULL loses had they been a lot closer in score. At this point we may have to nearly run the table the rest of the season to be considered for the top 25... the remaining stretch of the season is going to take its toll on our SOS and in turn our RPI |

Awesome 5 run comeback in bottom of 7th for walk off win over McNeese State. Old SLC foe with a solid program at around a 56 RPI. |

maybe it's still not quite fair to say but as I hinted at last week Quincy may very well be our ace and with our SOS the remainder of the season I think Woodard would be fair to the team if she let Quincy finish out the reg season just so she can get some more work in to see whether or not she deserves to be our #1 headed into the post season then again if we can't start mustering more than 6 hits a game it's not going to really matter what our pitching can do in the post season...not going to out hit a lot of decent hitting teams with that even with the good pitching we have. if ortiz young or webb doesn't hit a home run or someone doesn't walk we have no idea how to generate runs Catmom-- can you shine some light on way Haleigh Davis isn't being given more playing time? it doesn't appear that she is a liability on defense...the more playing time she gets the better chance we have of going deep in the post season |

Got a split today. Need a win tomorrow. Hope we don't fall too far in standings with loss today. |
