Hopefully, this releases the "demons" hindering success in some of our less productive programs and allows further advancement in the respective postseasons for the others.

I'm thinking the Ghostbuster's scene with Peck, but in reverse. We want to let the bad spirits go.

So... You mean Larry Teis is finally let go?

Is that what you mean by "released"?

Air Force is coming to town Nov 9th.

Perhaps the home opener in the new arena?

Memories of The Wall.

Freshman year my roommate and I got picked to shoot free throws and halftime for some game for free stuff. I was against the wall and made all of two shots. I was so embarrassed and found out my friend made one (turns out we could have been starters for Nutt's team back then). The next day in my chemistry class the prof called me out and said he was at the game and had me tell the class what a terrible shot I was. I forget his name but he was super old and I really liked his class.

Also the memory of the 3 win season when I yelled at Nutt to get the classifieds and find a new job and his wife and kids confronted me.

Nice. Those are the type of teams I'd like to see in Strahan. Winnable (more than winnable. Rice was bad last year. We need to beat them.) non-conference home games against peer G5 level schools.

Air Force and Rice is a good start towards a better non-conference home schedule this year. Renovation may help bring some better teams to San Marcos.

Full schedule should be out soon. We released it on August 1st last year.

Looking back over the last several years, I'd be a little surprised to see any more non-conference G5 teams coming to Strahan this year. Lot of years of none or just UTSA.

Like x said, Air Force and Rice are a great starting point for this season. The last time two G5s came to San Marcos in the same season during non-conference play was 2012-13 when SMU and Utah each paid a visit in November.

Continuing to fill out the home schedule: Howard Payne visits Strahan on December 29.

I agree unfortunately. Expecting some FCS level teams (yes I know that's a football only term but you know what I mean) and 1-2 non-D1s.

Kaspar loves the Christmas-time non-D1 games. I hope this is the only non-exhibition non-D1 we play this year. Really don't want two again. I can live with one for now I guess.
