So, from listening to Kaspar talk, it sounds like the line up will be something like this:

1 - Shead
2 - Nottingham
3 - Pearson
4 - Peacock
5 - Terry

Now, Davis would be the for sure starter at the 1, but it sounds like Kaspar is going to take it slow bringing him along. I do think Harrell has a chance to start.

What are your thoughts?

Exactly what I would expect considering your comments on Davis.

I think the starting unit will be without a doubt stronger than last year's post-Davis injury and probably even pre-Davis injury. Depth is my bigger concern.

At first I was surprised that Adams hadn't cracked the starting five yet, but with his struggles at the FT line and his dismal 3-pt percentage, he's behind on his development. Since he's the most pure talented player on the roster, maybe a RS year would be in order.

I am very surprised at Adams development as well. I thought he was going to be very very good here.

As far as pure talent on the roster. Mason Harrell has got to be right up there. The only reason he is playing in San Marcos is because he didnt grow a few more inches.

I'll have to see him in warm-ups and games next week to make and accurate assessment, although it is impressive that he averaged 33 ppg in high school and had a 54% FG rate (goes in line with Kaspar wanting a shooter to complement Pearson now that we were supposed to fill the "slasher" role with Adams), given his offers in this case he might be a project-type player.

If this does turn out to be the starting five, two things are clear:

1.) Our rotation won't be too deep
2.) This team is designed to win NOW vs. development.

I'd also venture to say that Davis will start at the five or play significant minutes. His rebounding potential makes it a more intriguing option.
