Agree on all fronts. M. Davis could conceivably be #3 pg next season if Nottingham continues playing well and Shead is what the coaching staff thinks he will be. Just glad to be winning the close games now.

We will be deep at PG next year. Davis, Nottingham, Miller, and Shead. Nottingham may play more SG if the other 3 play well. We have a few guys transfer due to playing time every year it seems. Seems PG may be the most likely position that happens in the offseason. I see why Nathan Josephs transferred now. He'd be 4th in line at the position this year, but is TLU's leading scorer over in Seguin.

Standings 1/3 of the way through conference play:

Louisiana 5-0
Georgia Southern 5-1
Texas State 5-1
Georgia State 4-2
UTA 3-3
App State 3-3
South Alabama 2-3
Troy 2-3
Little Rock 2-4
ULM 1-5
Arkansas State 1-5
Coastal 1-5

Great start to conference play for the Bobcats, but I highlighted the teams we've played so far to illustrate all 5 of our wins have come against the bottom half of the conference. That will continue through Thursday when we play ULM, until a huge showdown with the Cajuns on Saturday. Students back this week? Hopefully that's a packed house.

I could only follow on live stats during the 2nd half. Would have loved to see that. How far out was he?

The students are back Tuesday. Assuming any of us can get to campus. Or more importantly home as day goes on. Weather looks dicey for tomorrow.

G: Nottingham, Pearson, Gurley, Adams, Blount, Duncan
Bigs: King, Peacock, Prijovic, Terry

There is some hope there with continued development. The bigs still worry me. Need Prijovic to keep coming on although in reality he's more a swing type. He does alter some shots though when he has situational awareness and moves his feet.

If anybody ever wants to meet up before games we usually hang out at Saltgrass in bar area an hour or so before games.

Cats open as 8.5 point favorites vs. ULM tomorrow.

Has to be our biggest opening odds advantage of the season.

As you may expect, there will be no game thread....

My expectations for the next 4 games are to go 1-3 with the sole win being again ULM tomorrow. If we go 2-2 then I’ll be ecstatic. If we somehow manage 3-1 then I’ll start having championship hopes. For now I see us as a team that’ll end up 4th or 5th in this league.

Agree. Tough luck for scheduling too. Want tougher ooc games but the seven schools to play twice in conference include UTA, Louisiana and the Georgia schools, which are probably the four best this season.

Will note UTA plays the same schedule as the Bobcats, so being up two games on them is a good sign.

My goal is for us to win by 10+ tonight so that Lafayette will have a nice line for me to pound them on. They are much better than we are. With that being said, Ill be there Saturday in full obnoxious form.

We were up 44-30 but it’s 50-48 now. Are we shooting on the same side as our bench? Huge droughts in this half.

Final 55-52 Bobcats. Cats 6-1 in conference.

In Arlington, UL takes a 12 point win over Mav. Hope that our D can frustrate Cajuns Saturday,

watching that score get closer and closet the last couple of minutes had me nervous, but they are closing out games, if only barely.

Good win. UTA blew a double digit lead to UL and lost by double digits. I will feel pretty hyped if they take down UL Saturday. Those OOC loses to HBU and ACU still annoy me.

At least ACU is decent, HBU was a terrible loss. Blowing the late lead against utsa as well.
