 Re: CIT tourney
Looks like Saturday will be another grind it out game. St. Peter's has a very similar stat sheet to us. 1st in scoring defense in the MAAC (10th ranked nationally), but they are last in scoring offense. They are also near the bottom of the MAAC in FT%.. just thought I'd throw that out there

 Re: CIT tourney
Crowd filed in really late, I mean like at halftime late. Was really disappointed in the first half with attendance then fairly pleased in the 2nd half.
Saint Peter's has the 312th ranked scoring offense and the 10th ranked scoring defense in the country. TXST has the 291st ranked scoring offense and the 19th ranked scoring defense in the country. This will be an extremely low scoring game.

Yeah that is why you see stuff like JMU hosting SHSU even though SHSU was a seeded team. I think those were more of a bidding process so which ever school offered more money could host a home game. It my have changed over the years but I remember those discussions during the 2005 run.

Yes! Momentum is high right now. LT couldn't ask for a better opportunity to shoo away the naysayers who have been complaining about him. Which is fine by me. I'll complain about his action (or lack of) as long as it gets his butt moving and gets this department moving forward.

 Re: CIT tourney
Yeah.. kind of weird LT hasn't done any interviews last week. We had CIT halftime, baseball, or softball opportunities. Maybe he's scared of success. But it was an awesome week for Bobcat Athletics! Kaspar was interviewed twice during the baseball games last week. He should not be tooting his own horn all the time for support... It should of been LT asking students to support the athletic dept..... just bad!

 Re: CIT tourney
It sucks to see us go out the way we did. Didn't break the 50 point mark, sketchy foul calls down the stretch. Great crowd size today, as with Football, we kind of shit the bed when more attention/crowd is present.

 Re: CIT tourney
Sucks that the refs were so horrible down the stretch, but it's hard to blame anyone but us when you have a 17 point lead and let them go on a 17-0 run in the first half.
Just hate that it ended that way.

We had a bigger crowd at the Idaho game. On top of that, this crowd was flatter than a soda that's been left out overnight. Seriously. No noise on defense at all. Might as well had 100 people there based on who was chanting.
