Is he the stretch 4 they need to add? 10.5 and 6 isn't terrible but not overly exciting. Shot 75% from the line and took over three 3s a game. Nedja is likely the starter there but hopefully he'll be a quality add to the team. Maybe he's more of a wing player though, I'm not sure. The juco program he came from is pretty solid.

Jeff Beverley, a 6'6 forward grad transfer who lead UTSA in scoring last year, is considering Texas State, New Mexico State, and Iowa State.

He averaged 15.8 points per game, but it wasn't very efficient. His FG% was .397 and 3 PT % was .232. He did get to the line a little over 5 times a game which isn't bad. He also shot 75% when he got to the line which we could use for sure. It could be his inefficient scoring was due to his teammates. I know nothing of UTSA basketball.

Isaiah Gurley signed with the cats today. We need a sg who can hit threes badly. I do not know much about this player. Hopefully he becomes an important piece sooner rather than later.

Gurley looks like he could be a good one. Haven't seen anything on twitter to confirm that one. Is it from verbalcommits? They also picked up a commit from Reggie Miller. That can't be a bad thing to have that name. Also, if everyone signs, there will have to be a departure as that is 14 scholarships. Looks like a solid class of 5 if everyone signs.

I like that his Hudl highlights include a lot of shutdown defense...obviously a Kaspar kind of guy.

Yes it was from verbal commits. Interestingly they only have Miller as receiving an offer. If someone is leaving the team hopefully it's someone who doesn't play much. Also, if we only lose one player that's telling in itself.

I think he was a walk on. Ishmael Johnson has the info (tweeted this morning). I'm not computer savvy to show the tweet but looks like Courtney Julien is transferring to open up the extra scholarship.

PG - Nottingham Jr - Davis So - Miller Fr
SG - Gurley rJr - Blount Sr - Adams Fr
SF - Pearson So - Duncan Sr
PF - Prijovic So - Peacock Jr
C - King Sr - Starwood So - Terry rSo

Not concerned about losing Julien at all.

Probably in his best interest to transfer for playing time. He seemed like a good kid but I doubt he was in line to play much with Blount returning and Adams coming in. Hope he can transfer somewhere and be successful his last two seasons. Also, I'll be pulling for Nate Josephs to start and be a major player for TLU this year. Hope to see him do well for the Bulldogs.

There's been a lot of attrition under Kaspar, but most of it has been for the best (Julien, Ramlal, Evans, West). Just a few I didn't like (Malveau, Weatherspoon).

Agreed. I wish Julien well but good free up the space. We will have 2 so and 1 fr at pg. If one of them really steps up we will have stability for a while at a very important position. I wonder if we will have another walkon since Josephs is leaving?
