How was that not an offensive foul? He plowed right through him like a bystander at the running of the bulls!

Just execute and make your FTs and it’s a W for the Bobcats. *shudders*

Therein lies the issue, but those two by Shead were YUGE! That hometown timekeeper is being very slow on the button on that Islander possession.

Tre with clutch FTs and a steal to ice the game. I will say that previous Bobcat teams would have lost this game most likely. The Islanders always give us trouble and especially on the road. Sule saved us with a huge game.

Best start since 1960-1961. Go Bobcats!

Sule saved our ass tonight. Hopefully the freethrows by Nottingham will give him some confidence. Not pretty but it's a road win.

Another thing that stands out to me:
Two games in a row we've shot the ball horribly and found a way to win both times.

We were 1/17 from 3 tonight and still managed to win on the road. We likely won't have many games shooting the ball this poorly *crosses fingers*.

Good job just finding a way when things weren't going our way. Time to avenge an embarrassing loss to HBU last year. Got them in Strahan on Saturday.

Thanks for the play by play guys. I was unable to see this game. The posts made me feel like I was there.

The biggest difference between this year's team and last year's was the fact that when the 3's weren't falling, we didn't keep trying. Last year, we'd end up tossing over 20+ and we would lose by 4-5 points. This season, we make better adjustments and still find a way to attack the basket and be more patient.

I think HBU will be a lot tougher than we expect, but the revenge factor will be in play big time.

Man it is nice to see us finding a way to win even when we're throwing up so many bricks that Trump thought we were building a wall.

We absolutely lose this game in the past--our adjustments have improved so much this season over past seasons. They act like they believe in themselves and understand what Kaspar is asking of them.

Like I said in the other thread, I'm not sure what to make of HBU. They've beaten some teams that they had absolutely no business beating, and have lost some games that they had no business losing.

Yeah we can't take HBU lightly, for two reasons:
A. They beat us by 19 at their place last year. Really don't need another reason after that, but...
B. They haven't played any cupcakes like most of our opponents to pad their schedule. They're just 2-4 but both their wins are quality wins (6-2 A-10 Fordham and ACC Wake Forest). Their losses are to 6-2 Arizona, 8-1 Wisconsin, 4 point loss to UTSA who we struggled with, and 6-3 La Tech.

Just looking at their results so far they look like a very dangerous team to me. We better take them seriously.

Schedule starting to catch up to us.

NET ranking drops 9 spots from 86 to 95 after this road win.
