Holy Crap ! WTF was I thinking?

3 wins under Withers going into the Coastal game . . . 2 Vs. FCS and 1 Vs. FBS . . .

7 winning seasons since 1985. . . .

Y'all are absolutely right . . . There is NO club that we should absolutely be expected to beat.

Long live The San Marcos Suckage . . .

What is interesting is that we have beat two FBS teams in the last two seasons and both were on the road.

Is Coastal FBS on paper or are they transitional?

Since they were FCS last year, in an FCS conference, I'd say they're Transitional .. .

I think the victory was only a positive. We beat them in the cold rain. I'll say it again Williams is here to eat up innings while we get our future QB's ready. There is no need to get one of the young guys hurt at this point. The flea flicker showed Williams' cannon and was on ESPN. He has done more than anybody else on offense this year. At least we are not going to enter the 130 club this year. Coastal Carolina is a nice school with some great scenery there on TV in the stands and close to Myrtle Beach. I'm sure they will continue to improve as they emerge from the transitional phase.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves right away 98, let's live in the moment and besides ESPN still has us as 130th. And my guess is we'll need to win 2 of the next 4 games to keep us out of the bottom 10 this season. There are currently 12 (1 loss and 0 loss) teams with a better FPI ranking than us including Ga Southern, Rice, Charlotte, UTEP and CCU

For the win: wonder how Beau Corrales is enjoying sitting the bench on a 1-8 squad with NCst/Pitt still to play, Marshall Levins at 1-7 Nevada, Quan Hampton at 1-7 Kansas and Calvin Clater at 1-7 BGSU

Sooo, you're saying that GA Southern has a better FPI ranking than us ? Winless GA Southern? . . 0-fer GS is ranked higher than a 2 win Bobcat club?

Now that's freakin' funny. .

And just what does that say about the state of our program?

Thanks, Larry . .

Saul I see you trying to show support for Corrales getting tons of playing time at UNC.
He's tied for 10th on the team in targets which probably doesn't even put him in the 3-deep. If he stayed a ferocious bobcat :cat: at 6"4 he would lead the team in targets and would obviously be on the 1-deep and apart of the grand Withers experiment

edit: We actually ended up having 6 decommits in the 2017 class that parted ways for 1 win teams this year! That's actually quite amazing. What great decisions those guys made it has to bring a smile to Withers!

he also wouldn't be getting a degree from one of the best public universities in the nation, or competing against the nation's best teams week in, week out. so, there's that.
