I have FB and used it to watch MLS games before. It had good picture quality and sound.

How did you get it on your TV? Or did you just watch via your computer?

I would assume to get it on your computer you could mirror from your phone, tablet, or computer via appletv or chromecast. Not sure on other platforms but those two work for me.

Facebook live videos can be viewed without an account as long as the video stream is set to "public". I'm sure the broadcast for this game will set to "public".

You can stream the game on your TV via Apple TV or Chromecast. If you don't have either one, Chromecasts are only $35 at Wal-Mart/Best Buy. They're pretty useful with ESPN3 as well.

I just used an HDMI cable connected to my laptop. Haven't tried any of the apps.

HDMI. Ewww using a wire...that's so 2010.

Seriously though I invested in a chromecast 2 years ago during football season and it has been worth it. It is basically the mirroring function that you get with appleTV but at 1/3 the cost and easier to use I feel (ie Mirroring youtube videos from iPhone to appleTV not as good as user friendly and display as the chromecast). Good for collegefootball, netflix, youtube, amazonprime, Hulu or any other video streaming service. You can use it on any phone, tablet, or even laptop. Do it.

Thanks for the replies. I know nothing about facebook. I thought about getting an account because I heard Antone's has a live feed of their shows on there, but have never had time to sit down and figure it out.

I have chromecast and amazon tv.

I'm going to try the Facebook app on the FireStick for this - first time to try it so backup plan is to connect a laptop. I think there is also an Xbox app I could try. But for ease of use Chromecast is certainly a good option.
