those tow video boards are a total embarrassment. They are harder to see than a 19" tv from across the room. Guy next to me was trying unsuccessfully trying to view the video board thru his binoculars!!
I understand that they won't be replaced until they bowl in the south end zone. Said that probably won't happen on Trauth's watch.

I'm assuming you are making the first contribution towards that.

1. They are terrible.

2. Things get fixed when we have the money. I'm trying to pay for them with my beer purchases along but I need help.

We definitely needs bigger video boards. I, however, don't see any reason to finish bowling in the south side of the stadium anytime soon, we only fill the current stadium to capacity once every season or so. If we could fill that space up with some big ass video boards we'll have one of the best college stadiums in the state.
I'm glad we fixed the lighting on the "light side" so now it doesn't look like we were using high school stadium lights. It seems like everything is much more evenly lit up.

I have a bigger problem with the way we use the video boards than how big they are.

We never show the right replays. When we do they start halfway through the play because we use 1996 transitions. There are no creative packages put together for the games. Even the advertising sucks.

If we made the video boards 10x what they are now, would any of the above change? Probably not.

Probably need one large megatron but that will block part of the view from the endzone complex if placed there.

I still don't understand why we don't use graphic design students to do stuff like this. Or kids in the "athletics administration" programs to supplement our staffing.

I guarantee they would come up wtih some really creative and good looking stuff, plus gets the kids experience before they head out into the corporate world.
