Some notes from Withers Q&A after practice.

Awad - improving but needs more conditioning and learning the D.

Schrade had calf strain, is back but not 100%

Morbley had foot sprain, should be back Weds/Thurs

Gambrill is in concussion protocol

Talked about leadership, comaraderie of team

WRs - looking good

2 a days will start Weds 8/16

I like what Withers noted about making practices really hard for players so when games comes, they can just go out and play. I like this method. It makes sense. When players are thinking too much and not reacting, its never good.

Pretty sure he meant to say Science . . . as in Rocket Science . .

. . . unless of course he's a hard core Republican . . . Those people are all about denying "Science."

In which case I guess he'd opt for rocket surgery. . ..

No, he meant to say rocket surgery he did it on purpose it was a deliberate conflation of the two phrases.

I am fairly confident based on where I heard it from and they were right on it being a school issue in the first place. I had heard that before it was on Twitter. But I will not say it is official until it happens.
