Honestly, how does an FBS starting offensive lineman only do 14 reps.

This year might not be a good barometer, as it was considered one of the worst for linemen in MANY years.

Still, the point is valid.

I think he's getting a tryout with the Titans also, right?

I think that was CatMom saying that... And since we all know she's a stalker, I believe her yo.

Hope he's been hitting the weightroom studying the shit out of the playbook, and working on his footwork.

i feel like you don't even know me, rev. you have to know i'd never pick an outlier to make a point.

click on benchreps to sort:
2016
2015
2014
2013
2012

khaled holmes was 1st team all-pac12: threw it up 13 times in 2013 and was drafted in the 4th rd by the colts

not surprisingly, the guy who put up the most reps (41), david molk from michgan, is also the shortest at 6'1".

I'll say this. Long arms aren't good for being a great bench presser, but are great for being a great offensive lineman.

Regardless, 14 reps of 225 is pathetic for any athlete at that weight. No other way to describe it.

And being shorter does benefit you on the bench.
