have we dipped down into 3a for any other recruits in the last couple of years? can't imagine having to gameplan for that team w/ him and the moore brothers - what a nightmare!

Just Reece Jordan and Charlie Vatterott (private) from quick scan, so no skill players.

My biggest concern/surprise was only one uncommitted recruit in town this weekend? Wow.

That is surprising to me.

Heres to hoping more recruits come in next two weekends!

seems pretty athletic, if not particularly powerful. wouldn't hate seeing him as an h-back every now and then. like that he's from a 6a school, even if that district isn't real strong. has experience w/ the rebuild too - team went from 0-10 when he was a soph, to 5-6, to 8-3 this year.

I like that he had offers from houston, utsa, tulsa among others.

A big guy with size! That is what I like. I really like his frame like Patton. Video shows he'll need work on using his hands as he just uses his size to run over guys.

I would bet we are just happy to have a commit considering not much coming about visitors from this weekend from anyone.

An exchange between player and coach on Jan 19:
Russell Budai (@RussellBudai) to Kade Langston (@KadeLangston): Hold on big fella. One more on the list. Where you playing college ball?

Kade Langston replied: #EatEmUpCats

Come to find out that Kade holds an offer & plans on visiting on Feb. 3rd.

Yeah... if that's his position, he needs some serious trips to the weight room and the steak buffet.

I like his video. Fast/quick of snap and athletic. Definitely a DE in my book.

I'll try to add more but I'll be out of town tomorrow so will be difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if Jay is offered while on visit.

No one mentioned this with 2 commits over this past weekend. I wonder if we'll take another DL. So far, we have 2 signed a new commit in Nico. Hope we add one more. Still hoping for a DE type.
