Just based on last year i'm confident Withers and co. will pull in 2 to 4 more decently rated guys who will get playing time next year. But, like everyone has talked about, this is the first year with the early signing period and might make things interesting.

re: 2 nsd this year and the way that plays out - nsd2 is just the 1st day they can sign, not the last. think it's end of april?

i wonder if we'll see guys signing in the couple of days after the dust settles, kind of like the udfa signings after the draft, or if it will be the same as usual w/ 99.9% signed before noon. just have a feeling that the if/then situations aren't as settled as years past, and the dominoes may not start falling until that weds. haven't seen hardly any verbals since nsd1, and i feel like this is the time of year when all that is getting firmed up.

Saul... I'd think most will want to sign with their soon to be teammates. I still think the hype of February NLI day is still the big one because most schools are covering it from big boys in SEC to G5 schools.

I still think the hype of signing day is still there. Come the next few years, it could change but I still think everyone watches this one since there is no college football, no football anything for next month and a half, and this is where top non-signed players will choose and make or break some school's hearts.

For us, its just finishing up the class with best possible players to help us... at need positions.

my point is that it might not really be up to them, as they might have to wait for trickle down offernomics to shake out. just a thought - we'll see how it plays out.

Troy landed this solid 3***guy we had been recruiting today and now Ga State and Troy have jumped us. We're now what 247 considers 5th place.

meh - it's arkst out front and then the next 4 are pretty much equal, then a considerable drop. all i care about is getting to 12+ 3*, and i'm not real confident we're going to get there.

Here's to hoping to add 2 more CBs in this class (Bickham and hopefully another due to amount currently listed on Texas State football roster).

On my way! To a official visit with Texas State #goons

I like his video. Fast/quick of snap and athletic. Definitely a DE in my book.

I'll try to add more but I'll be out of town tomorrow so will be difficult. I wouldn't be surprised if Jay is offered while on visit.

have we dipped down into 3a for any other recruits in the last couple of years? can't imagine having to gameplan for that team w/ him and the moore brothers - what a nightmare!
