I really wouldn't worry about it. It will play out on how well he does at his new high school, regardless of when he decommits or ... not. I think its likely he will and we'll likely be taking 1-2 QBs is my guess in this class. Only a 2nd if one of current signees moves positions... which is highly likely by end of next season. Just my guess.

Agree. With him playing at a bigger school, he will get a lot more attention from schools on par with Miss St.

I think at least two of the incoming QB's will end up at different positions by the first game.

taxman... I doubt they'll be moved that quickly due to no other ship QBs other than Williams. Need depth for practice team and 2nd and 3rd string. Walk-ons are fine for practice squad but having a talented QB there makes good sense too.

Tons of offers went out today at 1st Junior Day.

Check 24/7 tomorrow and I'd guess we will go from 26 offers yesterday to 45+ tomorrow or by Monday!

He's supposedly the highest rated commit we've ever had, likely the earliest commit we've ever had, and did I mention he's good. Now we just have to hold on to him.

He seems to like us pretty well but lets see when P5s start coming like SEC or Big 12.

According to Keff he'd be the 2nd highest rated recruit in '17. So I think that'd put him at 3rd overall. 1) Kwamane Bowens, 2) Kieston Roach 3) York

Technically, Stacy Conner is the earliest ever, as he committed last year for the c/o 18.

I get what you're saying though, as I think the previous earliest commit (excluding the above) was end of March.

I'll go check.

LT... I don't think we can count WR Kwame Bowens, who was a transfer not a commit/signee but your right on him being #2.

TXSTlinds... your right too on him being the 2nd earliest.

I think if we get 4-5 wins this fall, he'll stay. If we win one game only, he will start looking elsewhere. He's a good "man of his word" type of player, so it would take something drastic for him to de-commit.
