Re: ***Louisiana v. TXST '16 Gameday Thread***
The only reason I'm still watching is the hope that we put in a backup QB to get some energy going, even though I know it'll never happen.
TJ looks like he doesn't give a **** even when we get a first down.

you people that give jones shit sound like you've never seen football before. he's the only reason we have ANY offense at all.
loving bucky giving us straight talk about the playcalling. calling out elliot left and right.

In TJ's defense he has been trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit for years now. Game Days are simply a symptom of a much larger Institution-wide disease.

Why do we look to the sideline on offense. As a QB at this level Tyler should be able to determine what to do.

I gave Fran a lot of grace when he took over. He actually inherited an FCS squad and had to start competing with FBS teams pretty quickly. He did that really well if you ask me, up until last year. This is the worst Texas State team I've seen since Fran's first year. Before you blame any of the players I'd have a hard look at the coach.

getting worn out is not the same as quitting.

Its a rebuilding year... everyone calm down! We don't really expect success at Texas State... Three more years and then we will see results.. Patience.

sontino wrote: Talking about this one fair enough, but "why not both?" applies here. the ol is shit, and calling the same swing passes over and over again isn't helping anything. personally, i'd like to see them moving the pocket on every down. roll out l, roll out r, rinse, repeat. if we can't protect, let's make the dl chase on every down and give tyler a chance to make plays on the run, which he's pretty good at doing.
