This is college football. Aren't we all alumni? How can you walk away from that? Sure, if we suck I'll go to and watch fewer games than if we are competing for the conference championship, but "walk away as a fan" does not compute.

other then time, im not that much invested and my time is pretty cheap. Just get less antsy as season goes along.

What worries me is that Withers will do what Fran did and never give us too much in any given year in fear that everyone might expect too much the following season. I hope that isn't what he means by 'sustainable success'. 3 wins year 1, 4 wins yr 2, 5 wins yr 3

Sustainable means-able to be upheld or defended.

I think EW wouldn't be OK with a one game improvement season over season...
