Going by their performance at the UT Spring game, I'd say you're in mid-season form with wrong analysis and predictions. 8) 8)

just the messenger, not the predictor - i leave ridiculous prognostication to you, taxi.
Quote:
Devin Duvernay, WR, Soph. and Donovan Duvernay, CB, Fr.-RS: The latter has been mentioned behind the scenes as a possible transfer candidate going back to the summer. Should Donovan leave, would Devin follow? At least one source with knowledge of the situation believes that would be the case.
Quote:
Devin Duvernay, who was projected to be the team’s best slot option entering the season but played a minimal role as an outside receiver, has also been the subject of transfer rumors.
Quote:
I am trying to confirm, but a Longhorn grad and colleague notified me this morning that the Duvernay brothers are looking to get out of Austin - amongst others.

If Elliott's departure happened to play a part in Clater's 2017 de-commitment could he be sure'ing things up with Elliott's return? Would have been nice if Elliott had returned before Stacy Conner flipped to BYU

As I've said before major football is dying out. UT, Ass&M, FU (OU) will be the last hold outs to their glory but attempting to match them (or even TTitty) at this point is preposterous. We should just ride out our late arrival to the party (I-A) with what we have. Let UTSA, Georgia State, and many others waste their money on big-time facilities if they want. We've already done that. I don't believe that new Strahan is a waste of money as it is also used for graduation and other university events. Basketball is nowhere near as expensive as fb. In the future just delegate everything to a club sport and then the universities from now on can plan from that context. They can still provide fields and facilities but who needs another Bryant-Denny. FLT! FYT!

PS: Who cares about your stadium next to the highway, we have a river!

stephen zabie was an (overrated) 4* ol out of westlake who signed w/ ucla, but has left the bruins and enrolled in juco looking to be a may 19 grad. he would be a fantastic fit here and he's already losing 2018 anyway. would have 3yrs eligibility remaining.

i say overrated because he is all potential, no polish. picked the game up late after a crazy/terrible childhood brought him to the us w/o parents, and then was declared ineligible his senior year due an age mix-up.

just a heads up, but this month could be very interesting for us. this is the 1st year of the new ncaa transfer rule, which allows players to add their name to the transfer database on oct 15, which allows other coaches to recruit them. there will be a TON of players looking to move because they have been recruited over at their current school and are looking for playing time, which could be great for us. at the same time, we may end up having a couple add their names as well - just hope that they are bottom roster guys and not contributors.

My god you’re still trying to keep this thread alive?? Don’t think any player you’ve posted about on this long ass thread has ever come to txst. Bet you didn’t even know about keenen brown until halfway through 2018 fall camp.

july 12, actually. so, right before camp. he never made an announcement that he was leaving, and he's not a big name or going to a texas school, so never hit my radar until keff tweeted it.

sorry?
