Dont know if you guys saw it or not on the SMDR, but that housefire in San Marcos where the 2 year old and mother were burned and the father was out on business in Germany?

That home belongs to Kent Anderson - Texas State Athletic's Video Director.

Reason he's in Germany is because he works for NFL-Europe's Rhein Fire during their season to add a little extra money.

Just thought you folks would like to know.

I didn't know that's whose house it was. I did see the story. I am so sorry to hear that and they will be in my prayers. I heard in the story that both were at Brook Army Medical Center's burn unit. They will get great care there.

Thanks for posting this Freightliner.

This tragedy left the Kent Anderson family with nothing, not to mention the heart ache of what his family has to deal with right now medically. Both his wife and young 2 year old son have suffered 3rd degree burns and last I heard they had to put his son into a self induced coma.

All this happened while Kent was away in Germany filming for NFL Europe. I can’t imagine getting that call and taking a long plane ride home not knowing what was going to happen to my family.

We need to keep them in our prayers.

There has been a local fund set up by the Wells Fargo in town. You can send a donation to:

Anderson Family Relief Fund
C/O Don Nash
123 N Edward Gary
San Marcos, TX 78666

Kent is a big part of the Bobcat Football family, it would be great if we would reach out to him and help.

I will throw in $50. Bobcats need to support other Bobcats in their time of need.

Wow, horrible news... Very scary for a family plus I know Kent put a ton of time and money into that house. My prayers go out to them
