Well no doubt about it. We'll have more than 31,000—probably a minimum of 45,000 at our first game. That's my prediction.

Not likely, especially if there is a Mariachi Festival in town...........LOL The Roadies can only get about 10 folks to post on their message board, and they expect 45K ? I read somewhere that they are only selling tickets for the lower bowl, whatever that seats. I have seen estimates of 5-7K season tickets sold, but noone seems to have finite numbers. More smoke and mirrors. It will be sweet in 2012 though, when there are more TXST fans than Roadies in their own "home" stadium.

San Antonians are weird. I'm from there, I know. Every other town in the world that wins a world championship turns cars over and burns down buildings. In San Antonio we cruise down Commerce Street, hanging out the window screaming and honking horns all night long.

Companies are buying blocks of tickets, and the bars along the river walk are giving out free drinks the morning of first game. 11am kickoff
