Kane Holbrooks has been assigned up to Class High-A and made his first start today. He is playing for Fort Myers Miracle now. He pitched through four innings without giving up a hit but gave up 3 hits and 4 runs in the fifth. He got the win though.

Congrats to Kane, that's good news on both accounts. It's rare for an organization to use a prospect they care about in a relief role, even as closer -- they usually want their top prospects pitching multiple innings, going through the lineup more than once so they're forced to develop multiple pitches.
