 Re: Tech game weekend
I have not heard of anything so far.
The city has actually been promoting the program (lightly) on some of their Facebook pages, so they may end up doing something. I'm not holding my breath.
The good news, is that there is definitely plenty to do, whether there are special activities, or not.

 Re: Tech game weekend
Bobcatfans Magazine teased something about "Rally" in their latest issue. The tagline reads "Come together for a common purpose" I don't know what it is, but it is on September 7th (the Friday before the Tech game). http://issuu.com/bobcatfans/docs/bobcat ... _july_2012

 Re: Tech game weekend
I have heard that Some of the bars are trying to get together a block party (I think Sean Patrick's did this on Halloween / HC weekend last year- fenced in part of the street)
I am hopefully TMT will have good music all weekend (not posted yet who may be booked, They have everything from Texas Country to Techno so never sure which way they will go for a big weekend)
Mid to late 90's All Greek Reunion at the Green Parrot with Fred Andrews, Greg Carter and special Guest Clay Garcia. (as per FB)
I am working on a group of Friends to Tube the river early in SM Saturday, then head to our tailgate, then the game, then the Sq.

 Re: Tech game weekend
I got $5 that says TailGator43 passes out before kickoff and misses the game.
