Lady Bobcats Sit Alone at Top of Southland!!

You are welcome TexasState03, slycat, KleinTx05 and anyone else! That's right -- SHSU just delivered a victory once more to hand you a regular season title for the second time this year. We just beat Lamar in five sets...the SLC regular-season volleyball title is yours after you guys pretty much were willing to be co-champions after losing to the Cards. Recall the other one? When we handed McNeese their first loss on the season so that second tie you guys had wouldn't bite you in the tail? Gave you guys the number one seed and you went on to win the SLC tourney title? Is it too much to ask you guys to let us beat you in about 10 days? We did help give you two SLC titles after all. Can't be much to ask for... Just joking with you -- but sure gives me a chuckle to know that we took the SLC co-championship away from Lamar! _________________ -The Terror- Supporting the Bearkats since 1983

Coggs64 Bobcat Wannabe Joined: Wed Jan 23, 2008 9:20 am Posts: 13	Lady Bobcats Sit Alone at Top of Southland!! With tonights upset of Lamar by Sam Houston, the lady Bobcats are the sole leaders of the Southland Conference with the final two matches coming this week. The standings as of tonight have the Bobcats at 12-2 followed by Lamar at 11-3. UTSA and Central Arkansas are tied for third at 10-4. The Bobcats play UTSA on Thursday evening in what will be a very critical match. The Bobcats will be trying to even the I-35 Series after losing to UTSA earlier in San Antonio. This will be a big match and the ladies could use all the support their great fans have!! If you have not been to a volleyball match yet this season, this is the one to be at!!! Just a thanks to the Loud Crowd for all that you have done this season! Keep it up!
