TXST both played Baylor, with A&M winning 1-0, and the Bobcats and the Bears playing to a 0-0 tie after 2 OT periods.

The Aggies are really good, but we are really good too. We have had the best season that I can remember in a long time. To be the best you have to beat the best. Either way we would have to play them eventually, we should just get it over with.

I found it interesting that TXST ranks like in the top 30 for soccer attendence, above about 7 Big XII schools.

Our keeper has been ranked nationally within the top 5 for the past several weeks! As a team we were ranked in some statistical areas as well. We actually have great Friday night attendance and pretty decent Sunday afternoon attendance. Great turn out of people for the Southland Conference tournament.

Tomorrow's game should be a great one! If you can get away - get to Aggieland and watch the game. 7pm TOMORROW! This is our best chance ever to win a first round game.

I went to the game tonight....we were dominated pretty much the whole game. We scored our 2 goals at the very tailend of the game, after TAMU was already up 4-0.

sucks to end, but they still had a great season.

This game was not one of our best this year by any stretch of the imagination but the team proved that they can hang with a team like A&M. Scoring 2 goals in the final 10 or so minutes was huge! This team should be proud of what they have accomplished this year. The good thing is that they are not losing too many for next year and bringing in another awesome freshman class so they will be right back in the NCAA's one year from now.

It's funny you mention the freshman class next year. I was talking to the nurse at my docs office about the A&M game and what a great year the team had making it to the tournament and dominating conference and she tell me...I know...that's where my daughter is playing next year. Crazy how the more people you talk to about Texas State Athletics the more you find out that there are lots of people like us. They may not be on this board and may not be wearing something maroon and gold all the time....but they are out there. We just need to get them back here.
