Time to Join Team BobcatFans

Texas State Athletics announced their move to the FBS and the WAC. They are undoubtedly taking steps to get Texas State to the level so many supporters believe it should be. Now its up to the alumni and fans of TXST to show them you want it to continue.

Texas State University according to the Alumni Association has roughly 136,000 living alumni. The Bobcat Club only has around 700 members. That speaks for itself.  Read more

Wright Dismissed

The Wright era is over. Officials at the university made this official announcement after the news broke on BobcatFans Facebook page.

Multiple sources confirmed with BobcatFans that Texas State Head Coach Brad Wright had been relieved of his coaching duties as of Monday morning.

WAC Commish in Bobcat Country

WAC commissioner Karl Benson will be in San Marvelous all day November 16th and will be attending the men’s basketball game at 7pm. Texas State Athletics is handing out t-shirts with both the WAC and TXST logos on them for the first 1,000 enthusiastic fans who show up early to get a seat. Read more

Head softball coach Ricci Woodard and the Texas State softball team have added four players for the Class of 2011. The reigning Southland Conference champions have beefed up their roster to add to the already stacked squad that they currently have. Read more
