Bobcat Receives Team USA Invite

Sophomore pitcher Carson Smith has received an invitation to participate in the Team USA trials beginning on July 6 at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.
A total of 38 players from around the country have been selected to take part in the six-day tryout before the roster is whittled to 22 players on July 12.
Smith learned of the news on Thursday morning.
“Coach Harrington called me this morning and told me that I made the tryout,” Smith said. “I’m excited to get out there with the opportunity to play for Team USA.” Read more
2010 Texas State University Football Kicks-Off at 7pm in H-Town

The kickoff time for the Texas State University football team’s 2010 season opening game at the University of Houston is slated for 7:00 p.m. The game will be the first game for both teams in 2010 and will be played at Robertson Stadium in Houston.

Football Camps Being Held June 10-18 and July 24

Texas State head football coach Brad Wright is hosting five mini-camps for high school students, a junior camp and a kicking camp this summer throughout the State of Texas.
The five mini-camps are for high school students entering grades 11 and 12 throughout the State of Texas. Each of these camps will focus on position specific instruction and drills and will be a non-contact, non-padded camp. Each camp costs $40. Read more
Bobby Hutcherson to Tee Off @ BNC

Former Texas State standout golfer Bobby Hutcherson was one of four golfers who played their way into the 2010 HP Byron Nelson Classic at the TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas Golf Club In Irving, Texas. Hutcherson is scheduled to tee off 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 20 on the Number One tee. He will begin the second round at 10:00 a.m. on the Number 10 tee at the TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas Golf Club in Irving. Read more
