Alamo Draft House is famous for its midnight showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, among other cult classics. Unfortunately, it appears we are getting our own special version of it as the San Marcos City Council takes its third Time Warp into economic incentives for the now vacant Springtown Mall. That’s right folks, your resident BobcatFans Publisher is turning old. I really like having a “2” (as in twenties) at the beginning of my age but I will be saying goodbye to that numeral this month. The 29 year-old me decided I needed to prioritize my life and set some new goals for the upcoming 30 year-old me. “Better at 30 than I was at 29” is my mantra for the year. Last night (1/13/10) was my first game of the season and all I can say is that we should not lose a home game to that A&M CC team. Bobcats tame the Ponies 91-86

For the Bobcat fans who have been saying all season this team has got potential, we finally got to see some of it today as the Bobcats outscored the SMU Mustangs 91-86 in Strahan Coliseum. While SMU (6-6) isn’t a great team, they aren’t horrible either. Read more
