Mardi On The Square – Join Us
February 11, 2010
BobcatFans Magazine is celebrating Fat Tuesday on the square at Harper’s Public House and you are invited.
Come join us as beautiful BobcatFans Hotties throw beads to party-goers from the best balcony on the square. We are turning Harper’s into a Mardi Gras paradise with beads of all sizes, colorful masks, and the upbeat sounds of New Orleans carnival music.
Mardi Gras Drink Specials all night long. Hurricanes in the house.
Beads start flying at 10pm this Tuesday February 16th.
Mardi Gras is only once a year. While we are not New Orleans, we will be hosting the biggest FAT TUESDAY Bash the San Marcos Square has ever seen! Dress up, get beads and party in San Marvelous like you were in The Big Easy. You might just end up in the next issue of BobcatFans Magazine.
Mardi Gras Historical Tidbit
The colors of Mardi Gras influenced the choice of school colors for Louisiana State University and rival Tulane University. When LSU was deciding on its colors, the stores in New Orleans had stocked-up on the fabrics of purple, green and gold for the upcoming Mardi Gras Season. LSU, opting for purple and gold and bought a large quantity of the available cloth. Tulane purchased much of the only remaining color…green (Tulane’s colors are green and white).
