The Club House : 09/30/09
October 16, 2009
Welcome to the first installment of The Club House. The blog focuses on Texas State’s diverse Club Sport community. Each year, hundreds of Bobcats suit up for their Alma Mater to compete for the thrill of the game. They do not receive scholarships or end up on ESPN, but these players still give their time energy to something that they are passionate about. There are 25 different programs listed with Texas State’s Department of Campus Recreation.

Week of September 27th – October 3rd
Do you need for your sports fix, but you can’t travel with the Bobcats to Southern Utah? There are a number of Texas State Sport’s Clubs in action this week. Stay home and watch Texas State students compete against UT, Baylor, and Sam Houston. For those of you who do feel like traveling, several of our teams—including Fencing, Women’s Rugby, and Water Polo—will be in College Station for tournaments.
