Team BobcatFans: Bobcat Club Membership Drive

Texas State Athletics announced their Bobcat Club Membership Drive and this year it is more important than ever. You see the membership is low, way to low for a university with almost 136,000 living alumni. The Bobcat Club only has around 400 members and they need you to help it grow.

Now is the time to change that. Texas State has called on a small but dedicated group of eleven alumni to start a grass roots effort to bring the Bobcat Club membership to a level where The Drive to FBS and a new conference affiliation can be successful.

Well BobcatFans.com must be doing something right because we had the honor of having one of 11membership teams named after us and we couldn’t be happier.

As fans, supporters and alumni of Texas State we need to band together to strengthen our voice and vision for an institution that means so much to so many of us.

Membership into the Bobcat Club costs as little as $100 a year and for your convenience yearly donations can be divided up monthly and automatically debited from your bank account. Suddenly $25 a month donation turns into a $300 a year helping hand to Texas State’s FBS success. Plus you are helping to strengthen, and become a part of, a strong network of Bobcats.

“Something to keep in mind on “The Drive”. When the conferences are looking at us they look at academics, location, athletic success etc. I can tell you that the one thing that is standing out as a negative to the conference commissioners is the low numbers for donors to the Bobcat Club. They want to see the support. This is a grassroots deal and there are some big things in the works. But it takes each of us. If you are serious about wanting to see us at the next level I highly encourage you to join. Even if its just 100 bucks, you will show up and count I can promise you.”
