$50,000 Raised At 22nd Annual Bobcat Bonanza
March 30, 2010
Texas State assistant athletic director Chris Park announced that the 22nd annual Texas Roadhouse Bobcat Bonanza raised $50,000 to help fund scholarships for Bobcat student-athletes on March 20.
This year’s Bonanza returned to campus and was held on the new Champions Club Level at the Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Westside Stadium Complex, and included a dinner provided by Texas Roadhouse, the Maroon-Gold football scrimmage, and a live auction. In addition, a silent auction was held and the day began with a golf outing at the Plum Creek Golf Course in Kyle.
“We want to thank our outstanding title sponsor Texas Roadhouse, along with other sponsors Brown Distributing and Dagar’s Catering,” Park said. “Having the Bobcat Bonanza return back to campus in conjunction with the spring football game worked out extremely well. I would like to thank everyone who supported and participated in the Bonanza and helped raise money for student athletes scholarships.”
Park also announced that, “The 2010-11 Bobcat Club Donor Fund Drive for Scholarships will kick off on April 1.”
